Of particular note is AAFSW’s “Livelines”, an email-based discussion group for people in the Foreign Service or those about to enter. The group, which still exists today with thousands of members, has proven enormously successful. Topics discussed have included schooling and housing issues, specific regulations, evacuations and much more.
